Le Lycée international de Calgary (Société du Lycée Louis Pasteur) est une organisation à but non lucratif dirigée par un conseil d’administration bénévole. Élu lors de l’assemblée générale annuelle, le conseil définit l’orientation stratégique de l’école et soutient le chef d’établissement et le personnel dans le maintien des normes d’excellence du Lycée international de Calgary.
Jennifer and her family have been members of the Lycée community since 2014. She has one child attending the Lycée.
Jennifer is a Director of enterprise asset management at Enbridge Inc. and has over 20 years’ experience in strategy, financial and operational performance across Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, and Transportation. She holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce (she studied her final semester in France) as well as a Master of Business Administration.
As Chair of the Board, she presides over Board and Executive Committee meetings, and participates in all board committees.
Gavin Carscallen has had two daughters attending the Lycée since 2017. He is the Director of Commercial Law and Corporate Secretary at Trans Mountain Corporation, where he oversees Canada’s largest infrastructure project. Gavin holds an MBA/LLB from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. His extensive experience includes serving as VP & General Counsel at Petrogas Energy Corp and working at Bennett Jones LLP on significant oil and gas transactions. Gavin also has international management experience from China and Africa and has extensive experience on boards as both a member and corporate secretary and has recently completed his designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
David and his family have been members of the Lycée community since 2010 and he has been a director of the Lycee since 2014. David currently has one boy attending the Lycée.
David is a member of Clarus Law Group, a virtual corporate law boutique based in Toronto and Calgary. He has an undergraduate degree in Finance with Distinction from the University of Calgary and MA (Law) and LL.M. degrees from Cambridge University. He is an International Bar Association Fellow and a member of the Law Societies of Alberta, Ontario and England and Wales. His practice is focused on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and securities law. He has been senior counsel in some of Canada’s largest M&A and corporate finance transactions, some of which have won a number of legal awards in North America and Asia. David has been recognized as a leading lawyer in a number of legal publications, has spoken at numerous conferences, and has published many articles on corporate governance and corporate law matters. He is a director of a number of corporate boards and was a member of the Alberta Securities Commission Securities Advisory Committee for 10 years. He is also the editor of and a contributor to the Thomson Reuters Alberta Corporations Manual.
Charlotte has been a member of the Lycée community since 2011. Charlotte has three daughters attending the Lycée.
Charlotte manages the Low Carbon transition at ConocoPhillips Canada. She has a Master of Engineering from l’École des Mines (Albi, France) and is a Professional Engineer registered with APEGA. She has been working in Calgary for major Oil and Gas Companies for the past 20 years, with specific expertise in the planning, development, and execution of capital projects while focusing on effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and partnership approvals.
Charlotte is a member of the Executive committee, of the facilities Committee and one of the Board member representatives at the School Council. As Vice-Chair of the Board, she presides over Board and Executive Committee meetings in the absence of the Chair.
Heather and her family have been members of the Lycée community since 2017. Heather has one child attending the Lycée.
Heather is the Managing Director, Strategy and Professional Development for the Alberta Real Estate Association, which is the professional association for the provinces 10,500+ REALTORS®, where she also oversees advocacy and communications efforts. Heather has two decades of experience in the non-profit and private sectors, primarily focused on business, external relations, and strategic planning. She has a Masters of Science in Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) in Political Science from the University of Alberta.
As a Director of the Lycée, Heather chairs the Head of School Transition Committee and is one of the Board members of the Advancement Committee.
Marcie has been a member of the Lycée community since 2022. She has two sons currently attending the Lycée.
Marcie is the Founder and President of Canadian Equality Consulting (CEC) and Equality 360, a social enterprise that helps workplaces become leaders in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) with a revolutionary DEI accelerator tech platform. Marcie has a Master’s degree in international human rights and conflict resolution. She has extensive experience in gender analysis, gender mainstreaming, intersectionality, policy and program development, and stakeholder engagement. She is the recipient of the SHEinnovates Award by UN Women, an award presented to those that are doing innovative work to advance gender equality.
Marcie is excited to be contributing to the Lycée Board, starting in 2023-2024 as Chair of the Diversity and Belonging Committee.
Dawn has been a member of the Lycée community since 2022. Her daughter is currently attending the Lycée.
Dawn is working as Senior Project Manager for Athabasca University. She is PMP and Black Belt Six Sigma certified Senior IT Project Manager with over 15 years experience in education and health projects. She has led and managed on and offshore teams and planned and managed multi-million-dollar projects in complex stakeholder environments. In addition, she has participated in several not for profit boards.
Dawn is excited to be contributing to the Lycée Board, starting in 2023-2024, as Chair of the Advancement Committee.
Nazimah and her family have been members of the Lycée community since 2015. Nazimah currently has two children attending the Lycée.
Nazimah is a Management Consultant who advises clients on business improvement projects with a specialization in Organizational Change Management (OCM). She works with clients in a variety of industries including Energy, Utilities, Construction and Manufacturing in the Public and Private sectors. Nazimah holds an MBA from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University.
Nazimah is also a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants, and is excited to be contributing to the Lycée Board as Chair of the Governance Committee.
Arsheela and her family have been members of the Lycée community since 2018, and her two children are currently attending the Lycée. She is a CPA, a CFA and holds a Chartered Certified Accountant designation from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. She has been working with the Oil and Gas industry for over 18 years. She has extensive experience in derivative accounting and financial reporting, and is well versed with International Financial Reporting Standards and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. As a Director of the Lycée, Arsheela is the Treasurer and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.
Ian has been a member of the Lycée community since 2021. His daughter is currently attending the Lycée.
Ian has many years of experience leading the development, financing and execution of energy and mining projects in numerous countries. He is a financial lawyer by training, and holds an A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard University, an LL.B. from the University of Toronto and an M. Phil. from the University of Cambridge. He has been an executive at major Canadian and US gas and power companies, and previously was Counsel to the Treasury of the World Bank in Washington D.C. Currently he is Executive Chairman of VanadiumCorp Resource Inc., a battery metals company based in Québec, and a Director of Priority Transactions Accelerator Group lnc. (PTAG) a Washington, DC based boutique in the international non-profit sector advising multilateral development banks and major NGOs in the mobilization of financial resources, especially for environmental purposes.
Ian speaks Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French. He is excited to be contributing to the Lycée Board since 2022-2023 as a member of the Facilities Committee and of the Governance Committee.
