Need a focused space to get work done?
Study hall, or étude in French, is designed as a supportive and organized environment where students can focus, complete their homework, and receive guidance whenever needed.
This approach reflects the Lycée’s bilingual and international philosophy, going beyond academics to help students become independent learners and thoughtful thinkers.
What is study hall ?
Study hall is a study period after classes, supervised by qualified teachers or staff in a calm and focused environment. It provides time for completing homework, preparing for exams, organizing materials, or reviewing lessons. This approach combines French academic excellence with Canadian student-centered learning, helping students develop personal responsibility, autonomy, and effective study habits.
We offer study hall from Monday to Thursday, 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Benefits of study hall for students
Study hall provides students with a structured, distraction-free environment that promotes focus, concentration, and academic improvement. By offering consistent time for review and practice, students strengthen their understanding of lessons and develop better organization and time-management skills. For busy bilingual learners, it reduces homework stress while fostering confidence and autonomy as they take ownership of their work.
Through this combination of structure, support, and self-directed learning, Study Hall reinforces the Lycée’s commitment to bilingual education and student success.
Study Hall Registration
Families are required to register for each trimester (3 in total). They will receive the guide before the trimester starts, along with the registration link a few weeks in advance.
Please note that participation in other programs (Before and After School Care, Clubs, Camps, Athletics, Hot Lunch) can be easily coordinated on the same platform.
