Lycée Calgary invites you, your family, and your friends to experience the excitement and challenge of indoor rock climbing! Our indoor climbing wall is one of the Lycée’s most innovative and engaging spaces, offering students a unique environment to build strength, confidence, and problem-solving skills. Supervised by qualified and certified staff, the wall is fully age-adapted and used both during physical education classes and extracurricular clubs.
Safety First: Supervised and Certified Environment
The climbing wall follows strict safety standards, including the use of harnesses, mats, and constant instructor supervision. All equipment meets Canadian safety regulations, and teachers are trained in belay techniques and emergency procedures, ensuring that students of all levels can climb confidently and safely.
Wall Design: Built for All Levels and Ages
The climbing wall features a thoughtfully designed structure made from high-quality materials, inspired by innovative climbing concepts. It offers routes for both beginners and advanced climbers, with a variety of textures, colors, and holds, and is built with custom panels that meet Canadian manufacturing standards.
Each rental includes the following :
- 36 ft tall climbing surface
- 10 top ropes
- Six auto-belay devices for solo climbers and beginners
- Regularly updated routes to challenge climbers
- Family-friendly and welcoming environment for all ages and abilities
- Qualified staff supervision (CGI Certified)
- Private rentals
- Free parking
