A lycée (pronounced lee-seh) is a type of school that teaches a curriculum approved by the French Ministry of Education.

In France, a lycée is the second, and last stage of secondary education in the French education system. 

Outside of France, a lycée is more commonly known as a type of school that teaches a curriculum that is approved by the French Ministry of Education.
