Celebrating the Class of 2026: A Journey of Excellence and Bright Futures

In early June, a quiet and intense focus filled the hallways at Lycée Calgary. Our high school students were taking their final exams. Soon after, the results arrived in a whirlwind of relief, happy tears, and quick celebrations.

Now, in the calm of mid-summer, our building is quiet again. However, our graduates are busier than ever. They are packing their bags, planning dorm rooms, and preparing for university. Therefore, we want to take a moment to honor the amazing success of our Class of 2026.

A Direct Path to Global Success

Earning a high school diploma at Lycée Calgary is an ambitious journey. During their final three years, our students tackle two programs at once. They prepare for both the Alberta Diploma Examinations and the French Baccalauréat (Le Bac).

Top universities across the world respect Le Bac. As a result, this dual curriculum opens doors to bright post-secondary futures. Through this dual path, our students build strong thinking skills and a truly global mindset.

“Great education starts right here in Calgary. We combine a top-tier French curriculum with daily guidance from teachers who inspire students every day.”

Our strong academic program helps students gain admission to top schools. In fact, elite universities and competitive engineering schools (Grandes Écoles) in Canada, France, and around the world have accepted our Class of 2026:

A Shared Success

These great results show the hard work and dedication of our students. However, success on this scale is never a solo journey. Our teachers, staff, and families supported these students every step of the way.

Because of this team effort, we celebrate more than just top marks. We also celebrate the personal growth and lifelong friendships built within our school community.

Ready to Shape the World

Right now, our graduates are spending their summer planning for the future. They will soon study engineering, business, humanities, medicine, and science. We know they are ready to thrive in challenging university settings. Plus, they carry the empathy and drive needed to make a real difference in the world.

To the Class of 2026: Enjoy every moment of this summer! You worked hard, and you earned this success. We are proud of your achievements at Lycée Calgary, and we wish you the best in your next chapter.
